כנס עיל״ב ה-15 בנושא מגוון ופלורליזם בחקר היחסים הבינלאומיים
נושא הכנס משקף את הדיונים המתקיימים בשנים האחרונות בקהילת היחב"ל בארץ ובעולם, בנוגע למגוון האינטר-דיסציפלינארי של קהילת חוקרי וחוקרות היחב"ל, כמו גם לזהותם.ן ולגישתם.ן האפיסטמולוגית והמתודולוגית המחקרית.
כל אלו משפיעים השפעה ישירה על מחקריהם של חוקרי יחב"ל, ועל התפתחות הדיסציפלינה בארץ ובעולם.
נושא זה נבחר בהמשך לדיונים שהתקיימו בפורומים שונים וגם בסדנה של עיל"ב בדצמבר 2021 ,בנוגע לפיתוח ולשימור המגוון בקהילת חקר היחב"ל בישראל, ובעיל"ב בפרט.

First Research Colloquium for Ph.D. Students
The First IAIS Research Colloquium for Ph.D. Students in International Studies in collaboration with Simone Veil research center and AIRES, invites applications
for participation in the research colloquium for a selected number of Ph.D. students from Israel and overseas (up to thirty participants), to present and discuss their work in progress with their graduate
peers and with leading scholars from Israel.
Ph.D. students are encouraged to submit paper abstracts (no longer than 300 words) in English only,
to be considered to one of the research workshops that will take place throughout the day (from
10:00 to 18:00). The colloquium will include parallel workshop sessions, and plenary discussions
regarding methodological tips and advice for their early academic careers.
All colloquium participants must submit a paper ahead of the colloquium, read the papers of the
other participants, and take an active part in the workshop. Submissions should represent original
research.
There is no registration fee for this Research Colloquium, but the participation will be limited to a
selected number of Ph.D. students.
Ph.D. students from overseas will have to follow the rules of the Israeli Ministry of Health regarding
“green passport” and vaccination certificates, and include a proof of health insurance during their
stay in Israel. Although there are no registration fees, there are no travel funds available regarding
travel and housing in Israel.
NATO Seminar
AIRES in collaboration with the Adenauer Division for the Study of European Politics and Society at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, alongside the Division of Political and Security Policy at NATO Headquarters in Brussels invites graduate students from all institutions to attend:
NATO- History and Current Developments
A unique course that will host guest lecturers, representatives from the various departments and delegations at NATO's political headquarters in Brussels.
Key topics to be discussed in the course: cyber, politics, NATO and Israel, operations and missions of the transatlantic alliance, cooperation with countries and regions, international tensions and more.
The course, which will open in the second semester of 2021, according to the academic calendar of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev will consist of 2 credits Thursdays from 12:00 to 14:00 The course will be taught online in English and is intended for undergraduate and graduate students from all institutions.

Young Researchers Conference
AIRES in collaboration with The Simone Veil Research Centre for Contemporary European Studies at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, National Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence for research and learning of European Studies, The Israeli Association for International Studies (IAIS) alongside The Departments of Sociology, Political Science and Communication Studies at The Open University of Israel, will convene on Wednesday, June 2nd, 2021 for the annual Conference of Young Researchers in European Studies in Israel.
